*A Common Breath of Humanity*

Let us focus on what we as a diverse melting pot have in common. I am convinced we have more in common than we have differences.

We all desire connection, to be heard, to be loved.
We all wish not to worry about having our basic needs met.
We all need to be touched, both physically, and spiritually.
We all need music, including the sounds of nature, unimpeded by cars and trucks.
We all need peace, to make up, to not carry grudges.
We all need to carry love in our hearts, and help each other.
We need to give to each other for giving's sake, and not to get back.
We need to witness all of our unique traditions, origins, races,and religions in a joyous inclusive dance of onenes and celebration.
We need to embrace each person's unique beauty and contribution to the whole, which is the world, our dear mother earth,our true home.
We need to pray and realize we really are much more alike than we are different.
