Up at 5:30 am. I light the three candles on the alter.
One large green candle for center, balance and prescense, two smaller orange candles, for dreams, visions, courage, and child-like innocence.
Sipping my mug of Java, I watch the three flames, and set intentions for my meditation, and for my day. Resting my coffee mug down, I proceed to close my eyes and watch my breath. It is deep, fluid, and non-restrictive.
After twenty minutes, of watching thoughts, returning to my breath, and to my center, I naturally open my eyes. Prior to closing my eyes, the sky was a deep sapphire blue. Now, the sky reflects a lovely, soft powdery blue.
Sensing myself, analogous to the sky, I feel blessed. Blessed to have the time to go within, and feel akin to the sky, and it's abilities to transform. Simply by being still, quiet and open.
My intentions for the day:to stay open to changes, both inner and outer. To intuitively know what is really important to think about, and what is really not necessary to think about, or to involve myself in.
My vision for the day is the bermuda onion. Peeling away the layers of pink and white. Letting go of outmoded thoughts with tears, laughter, and sighs.
To stay open to the infinite potential which rests within is the most difficult thing;I am not turning back, as this path speaks to my deepest self.
