It is a new year. Every day is a new day.

Didn't write your new year's resolutions last night? Or perhaps you wrote them, and know you will not be able to realize them.
Maybe another perspective will be helpful.
Consider every day an opportunity to write and revise one's life. Each day is another chance to be a better person:kinder, more compassionate, and more present to life's wonders.
It is also true that we become more aware of life's atrocities, yet we do not make them our own.
To not be present to all our senses, feelings and thoughts, and to run after temporay pleasures and fleeting moments of fancy, is to live like a walking corpse. As long as we are present to our true feelings, and express them, we shall stay most vibrantly alive. To reject the present, and look outside of "what is", to "what would make me happier" has the potential of creating much tension, and disturbance in one's body mind and soul.

Stay with it. Move on when you can if it is unpleasant.
At your very worst moment, you can still think of something you can do to make someone else feel better. Then do it. You have shifted your attention from, "OOh no,", to , "Oh, good", I have been there for another person. Your heart and spirit are now filled. You were always a good person. Your body is just resonating with more life, and your mind and spirit are reminding you how important it is for you to be on the earth at this fragile time.

Take a deep breath of gratitude.
Thank the blue moon, the sun, the stars, the air, earth, candle flame, moving rivers and still lakes. Your life is no mistake. Live it in the abundance you were meant to experience.

You are blessed, and joy peeps in from all corners of the globe.
Smiles abound. We are one for a moment, and peace prevails.

Much Love,
Rosha Kate
