I ventured outside at five am, in anticipation of viewing some of the Geminid meteor showers. They were predicted to "peak" in their glorious bright activity at two am.
I set my mind to wake up at two. Actually I woke up at two, pondered a dream, forgot I was planning on getting up to see the meteor shower, and proceeded to go back to sleep, until four forty five am!
As I ventured out at five, I witnessed many clear constellations, amidst the warmer damp air. No meteors;nothing remotely LOOKING like meteors. Walking back, dissappointed that I did not go out earlier.
Perhaps Geminids were active, just not visible, because of the great volume of rain we experienced most of Sunday.
Could this be just another analogy to life's grand scheme? The mystery unfolds!
The things in life that really matter are more importantly felt, than seen. If I quoted an old sage, thank you, and forgive me for thinking I created it. Honestly, there are no new ideas;just original ways of expressing them.
May the things that one cherishes be felt deeply today!
